Hi friends. Happy to meet you all again in the review series of Xperia models. Now its time for Sony Xperia SP.This model has been announced in March, 2013 and it is available in Market from April, 2013. Let us see the details of the mobile phone.
Sony Xperia SP comes with the support of 2G/3G and 4G services. It comes with the facility of Micro-SIM. and the total weight of the mobile is about 155g.
The display of the new Xperia SP is of TFT Capacitive touchscreen, with Corning Gorilla glass protection and it supports Multi Touch facility which will respond to 10 fingers at a time.
It displays up to 16M colors and has a 3.5mm jack for Head Phones, Loud Speaker and supports Stereo FM radio with RDS. The Call alerts in Sony Xperia SP are by Vibration and MP3 ringtones only.
The internal memory of Xperia SP supports 8 GB storage in which 5.8 GB is user available, supported by 1 GB RAM. The external MicroSD card slot supports up to 32 GB. So totally it will be above 35 GB storage for the users. Its a good thing guys.
It supports GPRS, EDGE, wireless technology (802.11 a/b/g/n, Dual-band, DLNA & wi-fi HotSpot), Bluetooth, NFC and micro USB.
Xperia SP comes with 8 Mega pixel camera, with LED flash and the auto focus facility. The camera includes the features like geo tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, HDR, sweep panorama and Image Stabilization.The video recording facility is available at the rate of 1080p@30fps, with Video stabilization.
The secondary video facility is available in VGA format.
It comes with a Non-Removable Li-ion battery with stand by time of up to 635 hours for 2G & 734 hours for 3G facility. The Talk time is up to 10 hours 25 min for 2G & 19 hours for 3G. The music play time is up to 39 hours.
It uses Android OS, version 4.1.(Jelly Bean) and supports SMS, MMS, E-mail, push Email, IM, HTML5 browser, GPS and JAVA. It is available in Black, White and Red colors
The other features includes SNS integration, Active noise cancellation facility is available with dedicated mic, TV out is available via MHL A/V link, Document viewer, photo viewer/editor, voice memo/dial and predictive text input facilities are available.
