BLACK BERRY Q5

Hi friends. Happy to share with you all again an interesting article about the just released Blackberry Q5 model. This model was announced in May, 2013 and it is released and available from June, 2013. Let us see some of the features of this model.

This Q5 Supports 2G, 3G and 4G services and it has QWERTY Keyboard. The total weight of the handset is about 120g.

The display of Q5 has IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with multi touch facility but there is no protection (ex: corning Gorilla like). It supports Multi Touch facility and the displays up to 16M colors.

It has Loud speaker, Head Phone Jack (3.5mm), no radio support as of now but in future it will be included. You can set the MP3 ring tones as the call tunes along with the usual vibration mode.

The internal memory gives you about 8 GB storage provided with 2 GB RAM and the external card Slot (microSD) will support up to 32 GB. When compared with Q10 model, the storage capacity is slightly less in this model.

On the connectivity side, it supports GPRS, EDGE, LTE, Wireless support, Blue tooth, NFC and micro USB support.

The camera is equipped with 5 Mega Pixel (Rear) with autofocus, LED flash and Video recording facility is available in 1080@30 frames per second and there is a 2 MP secondary camera which records at the rate of 720 pixels. It comes with Li-Ion battery but there is no official stand by time and talk time is available.

Q5 comes with Blackberry 10 OS which is upgradable and with Dual-Core CPU and it supports SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email, IM, BBM 6, HTML5 Browser support, GPS and JAVA. It is available in Red, Black and White colors.

The extended features of this model includes BlackBerry Maps, MP3 & MP4 players, Social Network Service integration, Organizer, Document viewer, Photo viewer, voice memo/dial and predictive text input facilities.
