GOOGLE NEXUS 7

HI friends. I'm Back again with new review and this time it is Google Nexus 7. Google announced its product Nexus 7 by joining hands with Asus in June 2012 and it got released in July, 2012 itself. It is a tablet  Computer and it is not a GSM device. So it won't work on any GSM networks (no phone call, no SIM, no SMS & MMS).

The display of new Nexus 7 is made up of LED-backlit IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It supports Multi touch facility which supports 10 points and displays up to 16M colors. It has Loud Speaker and Head phone jack (3.5mm).

Now the most awaited memory configuration of Nexus 7. Initially Google announced with 8 GB/16 GB/ 32 GB storage capacity. But the 8 GB storage model has been discontinued from October, 2012. Now it is available only in 16 Gb or 32 GB model only. This memory has been supported by 1 GB RAM.

On the connectivity side, there is no GPRS and EDGE support. It supports Wi-Fi connectivity of standard 802.11 b/g/n. It supports Bluetooth, NFC (Near Field Communicationn) and USB (micro) support.

It has 1.2 Mega Pixel Camera with video calling facility. The video recording facility is also available in 720p rate. There is no secondary camera facility.

It uses Android OS 4.2 (Jelly Bean) released on February, 2013. It supports Email, Push Email, IM, RSS, HTML browser. It does not support Radio. GPS support is available. It comes only in Black Color. But it does not support JAVA. Some of the features that the Nexus 7 tablet has includes Google Wallet, Social Network Service (SNS) integration, MP4 & MP3 player, Organizer, Image/Video editor, Document viewer, Google applications like Google Search, Maps, Gmail, You Tube, Calendar, Google Talk and Picasa. Voice memo and Predictive text input facilities are also available.
